Photographer (wildlife & nature)
[NVA Treasurer]

Tim W Moore is a photographer residing in Tillamook County, Oregon. He specializes in wildlife and scenic images that are captured throughout North America. His images feature the natural surroundings of our country and the habitat of animals in the wild. He loves visiting national parks, state parks, wildlife refuges, national monuments, while taking hikes with his camera—always on the lookout to capture the perfect image.

Tim began his photographic skills using film cameras. He learned the basic settings of cameras, and utilized his knowledge of photography shooting family gatherings, wedding events, as well as natural scenery. In 2008, he decided to purchase his first digital single reflex camera. Since then, he has improved and expanded his inventory of camera and lenses, as well as expanding his skills in using photographic equipment. Today he uses professional quality Nikon camera and lenses on all his photographic outings.

His images have been displayed in various locations, from Hood River at the Columbia Center for the Arts, to Lincoln City where he is a current member of the Artists' Studio Association, and various locations in between. He has participated in art shows in Oceanside, Oregon, as well as Pacific City, Oregon, where he is a member of the Nestucca Valley Artisans. His showings in Corvallis, Oregon, at the New Morning Bakery, led him to make a presentation to the members at the Academy of Lifelong Learning in Corvallis, describing techniques used to capture various images.

Tim has been the treasurer for Nestucca Valley Artisans since 2023.

Nature is the avenue to stimulate our senses.
