Aron Gilliland
Arlon Gilliland is a professional artist who has been drawing and painting for most of his life. Focusing on nature and manmade items, Arlon applies a variety of techniques using acrylics, watercolors, and mixed media including clay art.
Arlon started out being a graphic commercial artist in the US Air Force for four years. After being honorably discharged he was a commercial artist doing creative layout and camera-ready art for Pacific Northwest Bell for seven years before going on to do freelance graphic art while painting with a diverse style from realism to abstract.
Now, after teaching art for 30 years as well as having managed a gallery for several years, Arlon continues to sell his art in person for all to enjoy. A true master of his craft, he brings to Nestucca Valley Artisans over 55 years of experience in the art world.
